Frequently Asked Questions
Products & StressMap™ Engineering
What makes Inflateo inflatables different from other commercial brands?
Inflateo uses StressMap™ Engineering, which concentrates 14oz commercial-grade vinyl at the five zones where bounce houses actually fail (bounce floors, slide walls, entrance ramps, anchor points, and high-stress seams). The no-load zones use lighter material. The result is the same ASTM F2374-rated durability as 18oz competitors at 20–30% less total weight. This is the same engineering principle Boeing uses on the 787 and the same concept behind USPTO patent 4,593,639 (Method of Stress Distribution in a Sail).
Are Inflateo products commercial-grade?
Yes. Every Inflateo unit meets ASTM F2374 commercial safety standards, uses 1300×1300 denier base fabric, is double-and-triple-stitched with #207 bonded nylon thread at stress zones, and is third-party certified lead-free. Our products are designed for daily rental use, church events, school carnivals, and commercial operations — not residential-only.
How much lighter are Inflateo units compared to competitors?
Inflateo units weigh approximately 20–30% less than comparable models from manufacturers using uniform 18oz vinyl construction. The weight savings come from the no-load zones (roof panels, back walls, decorative elements) — not from reducing material at impact areas. Your bounce floor, slide wall, and anchor points get the same heavy-duty commercial vinyl as any premium competitor.
What vinyl weight does Inflateo use?
Inflateo uses 14oz commercial-grade PVC vinyl with a 1300×1300 denier base fabric at all stress zones. This is concentrated at bounce floors, slide walls, entrance ramps, anchor points, and high-stress seams — the zones identified through 25 years of repair-ticket data as the only areas where commercial inflatables actually fail. Non-stress zones use a lighter PVC blend that holds shape, color, and weather resistance without adding unnecessary weight.
What warranty does Inflateo offer?
Every Inflateo unit comes with a 1-year warranty signed personally by Harry Demirdjian and John Haytaian, a 25-year inflatable manufacturer. Warranty service is handled out of our Los Angeles facility. This is not a faceless corporate warranty — you can call and speak directly to the person who engineered your unit.
Company, Manufacturing & Business
Where are Inflateo products manufactured?
Our units are manufactured at vetted partner factories overseas, then inspected, QC'd, and warrantied out of our Los Angeles facility. This is the same supply chain used by virtually every brand in the commercial inflatables category — including most that claim "Made in USA" on their homepage. What's different at Inflateo is that a 25-year manufacturer (Harry Demirdjian) personally engineers the units, specifies the materials, and signs the warranty.
Can I use Inflateo inflatables for my rental business?
Absolutely. Inflateo units are built specifically for commercial rental operations. Every unit meets ASTM F2374 commercial safety standards, is third-party lead-free certified, and is designed to withstand daily rental use. The StressMap™ Engineering weight savings (20–30% lighter than 18oz competitors) mean less strain on your body during setup and teardown — which matters when you're running 3–5 events every weekend.
Do you offer bulk or wholesale pricing for rental companies?
Yes. Contact us directly for fleet pricing on 3+ units. Many rental operators start with a single unit to test the quality, then expand their Inflateo fleet as they see the durability and weight savings in action. We work with operators running anywhere from 5 to 100+ units.
Who is Harry Demirdjian?
Harry Demirdjian is the founder and CEO of Inflateo and has 25 years of experience manufacturing commercial inflatables. Also as COO of Bouncing Angels, he has overseen the production, QC, and warranty servicing of over 20,000 units sold nationwide. Harry personally engineers every Inflateo unit, specifies the materials, and signs the warranty. He developed StressMap™ Engineering after analyzing 25 years of repair-ticket data and discovering that the same five zones account for virtually all commercial inflatable failures.
What is the relationship between Inflateo and Bouncing Angels?
Inflateo is a sister company of Bouncing Angels, one of the largest commercial inflatable suppliers in the United States with over 20,000 units sold. Inflateo was created to bring StressMap™ Engineering to the market — a new manufacturing approach developed from Bouncing Angels' 25 years of repair and failure data. Both brands operate out of the same Los Angeles facility and share the same commitment to quality, but Inflateo represents the next evolution in inflatable engineering.
Shipping, Returns & Maintenance
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. Inflateo offers free shipping on all orders within the continental United States. Most orders ship within 1–3 business days and arrive within 3–7 business days depending on your location.
What comes included with each inflatable?
Every Inflateo inflatable ships complete and ready to use. Each unit includes: the inflatable itself, a commercial air blower, a heavy-duty storage bag, anchor stakes, repair patches, and setup instructions. Water slide models also include a splash pool. You don't need to buy anything extra to get started.
What is your return policy?
Inflateo offers a 30-day return policy. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 30 days for a full refund. The unit must be in its original condition. See our full return policy page for details.
How do I maintain and clean my inflatable?
After each use, hose down the unit, let it dry completely (this is critical — moisture causes mold), then deflate, fold, and store in the included storage bag in a cool, dry place. For deeper cleaning, use mild soap and water. Never use harsh chemicals. Our quick-dry materials help prevent mold and mildew, but thorough drying before storage is the single most important maintenance step.
Are Inflateo inflatables safe for children?
Yes. Every Inflateo unit meets ASTM F2374 commercial safety standards and is third-party certified lead-free. Our units feature reinforced stitching at all stress zones, safety netting on water slides, and proper anchor points for secure staking. We recommend adult supervision at all times and following the weight and capacity guidelines on each product page. Always stake units securely and do not use in winds exceeding 15 mph.
